ANDREA BARBER

I hope you get moving today

ABOUT

Hey! My name is Andrea, and I’m a freelance movement specialist, gravel cyclist, entrepreneur, and content creator based in Vancouver B.C. I love adventures, riding my bike in nature, hiking, eating tasty things, and moving my body for my mental health.

I’m on a mission to inspire more people to want to get moving through my work, and the content I share. Whether it be through getting outside for walks, runs, rides, or by going to the gym. I believe everyone deserves to move their bodies how they want, at whatever pace works - outside of the societal pressure of how we think we need to be moving. I believe everyday movement can help give us the confidence to do the cool, fun things in life.

A Few Fun Moves

My approachable, playful, and beginner friendly fitness and movement concept.

ABOUT:

After 6+ years in the fitness industry, I found myself burnt out and exhausted. I desperately craved something to hold myself accountable for healing my relationship with exercise and my body. From this, my idea to start A Few Fun Moves was born. I somewhat selfishly started it for myself, only dreaming of inspiring others to do the same.

AFFM has evolved into much more than just a movement platform and app. It has become a community of like-minded people from all over the world who enjoy moving their bodies for themselves, in ways they like, at whatever pace works best for them, all while having fun.

It’s about trying new things for the fun of it, being okay with moving at a pace that works best for you, and finding joy in any style, intensity, or type of movement."

I truly believe everyone deserves to find their own version of a fun move: anything that gets you moving, feeling good, and having fun.

AFFM offers over 300 workouts ranging in length, style, and intensity level, as well as beginner to intermediate-level strength programs and gym guides.

Sometimes, all it takes is just a few fun moves to make your day better.
